Since the 5th Century, St Michael's has been

the parish church of Michaelston-y-Fedw and a

Christian presence in the local community.

In 2014, the parish of Michaelston joined with three other parishes in the area, namely Rudry, Machen (and Lower Machen) and Bedwas (and Trethomas).

We hold regular Sunday Services at St Michael's which range from Morning Prayer to Holy Communion and all are welcome to attend - we would be so glad to see you! There is provision made for children at our Sunday services.

We also have special events and services throughout the year.

If you need any information (such as service times, special events, baptisms, weddings or funerals), or would like to speak to someone confidentially, please call The Rectory (01633 309 691).

Thursday 25 May – Saturday 3 June

‘Thy Kingdom Come’

In response to an invitation from the Anglican and Roman Catholic Bishops in Wales, and following the lead of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Community of Michaelston-y-fedw will be marking the period between Ascension and Pentecost with a daily meditation on the words of the Lord’s Prayer.

Whilst individuals can do this on their own (there is a leaflet to help) we will be meeting as a community at St Michael’s church at 10am each day (9.30am on Wednesday 31st) when a short meditation will be included in the Office of Morning Prayer.

Do join us if you can – ALL are welcome
