If you were around Michaelston-y-Fedw in the past week you would have noticed the evenings were much brighter than normal for this time of year. That was due to the lighting being used for the filming of Dr. Who.
Cefn Mably Trout Lakes and Pen-y-lan hill were two locations used by the makers of the popular BBC show to film scenes for the next series. Roads were closed in the area while filming took place.
